Climbing
Bouldering and sport climbing. Problem-solving with your body — every route is a puzzle where the holds are the constraints and gravity is the compiler.
Why Climbing
Climbing scratches the same itch as debugging: you study the problem, try a solution, fall, adjust your approach, and try again. The feedback loop is immediate and unambiguous — you either send the route or you don't.
Discipline
Mostly indoor bouldering during the week, outdoor sport climbing on weekends. Bouldering is explosive and powerful — short sequences of 5-8 moves at maximum effort. Sport climbing is endurance and route-finding — longer routes where pacing matters as much as strength.
Grades
Currently working V5-V6 in the gym and projecting 5.11 outdoors. The numbers matter less than the movement — a perfectly executed V3 that flows feels better than a scrappy V6.
